Natural Buffalo Hair from Hook and Hackle comes as a hair-on leather patch approximately 5" square. Each patch of bison hair contains plenty of long crimpy hairs with a dense and curly base hair that can be used to make your own dubbing blends or to tie patterns like the Buffalo Soldier wet fly or the Buffalo Midge dry fly.
