Duncan Reed
Duncan re-joined the team in early '22 after a few years' hiatus pursuing other opportunities. Duncan is always ready to help customers. His friendly approach is appreciated by young and old. And he is a master at the "jenga" that is our backroom storage. Here's a more complete introduction to Duncan.
How long have you been fishing?
I did a bit of spin fishing as a kid, but started fly fishing just after high school in the summer of 2016.
How did you get started in fly fishing?
A good friend of mine had been a fly fisher since childhood but lost his passion for the sport during high school. I was looking for something to do in the summer and he was hoping to get back into the sport. It was perfect timing for the two of us. After my first day on the water learning how to cast, I fell in love with it immediately.

Given the opportunity who would you choose to fish with? Or someone who has inspired you as an angler/tyer/teacher/guide.
There are a few family members who have really inspired me to chase happiness. They don’t live locally, but I’d love to teach them how to fly fish and show them the passion that they’ve encouraged.
