In October 2019 we started posting weekly Fly Tie Tuesday featured flies to our social media feeds. These posts feature an image (or two) of a finished fly and the “ingredients list” for the finished pattern.
It’s Fly Tie Tuesday and we are hearing the mouse fishing is on! Here is the Steamboat Willy…that chug, chug, chugs along. This simple mouse was inspired in part by the more complex Mousy McMouse Face. This one was tied by our shop staff with some old muskrat fur, but substitute with rabbit, squirrel, mink... and get out on the river when the sun goes down.
