The heavy variant of the Rio Flies Avalon Permit Fly is the original design of this fly pattern and one of the best permit shrimp flies around, with lead eyes for quick sinking and to keep it crawling on the bottom. This shrimp pattern features a mono loop with beads on the bottom that helps keep the fly riding hook point up and adding a clicking noise.
