Shiel's Holee Molee Crab Fly from Rainy's Flies imitates the tough to mimic mole crab (Emerita sp.). Also known as the sand crab or sand flea, this little critter occupies the surf zone along beaches and is a favorite target of prowling permit, pompano and other salty fishes. Because they don't swim well, these crabs are an easy target when loose in the surf and not buried in the sand.
