Each pack of MFC Barred Saddle Hackle contains a good amount of 5″- 6″ feathers that are sure to spruce up your favorite streamer and saltwater patterns. One unique thing about these saddles is that they are dyed over white and then barred black using Montana Fly’s proprietary bar-dying process that penetrates the feather rather than simply coating the surface. What that means is that you get super consistent barring that will never fade in colors that were previous unavailable to the contemporary fly tyer.
