MFC Flies Booty's Cripple Dry Fly is a mayfly pattern that mimics an emerging adult mayfly that's stuck in the process. Trout target these because the incomplete transformation of the mayfly leaves wings stuck. Unable to fly away, they are on the water's surface longer and a more guaranteed meal. An excellent pattern for when these little bugs are popping, featuring a parachute post and foam for floatation. Tied with super buggy materials.
