This Trico Spinner Dry Fly from Springbrook Flies is an excellent mid-summer through fall Bow River pattern for those who dare to fish tiny, tiny, dry flies. Trout feed on spinners when they fall to the water - while males are spent and females are laying eggs. Trout seek them for an easy meal as spinners are usually very abundant when the hatch is on. Fish them on 6X tippet and target feeding lanes of rising fish, they very rarely move from side to side, direct placement is key.
