Tariffs are affecting the pricing of many fishing products entering Canada from US suppliers - particularly suppliers who manufacture overseas or purchase raw manufacturing materials from overseas. We are now seeing significant pricing increases - 10-30% - as product is being received at the shop and 2026 pricing comes in to play.
As we expected, some suppliers have now rolled out price increases to compensate for the tariff hit and increased manufacturing costs. While Fish Tales has held off on implementing some of these increases, in recent weeks we have had to make some pricing adjustments and more are coming.
Echo rods are a prime example of a product line being impacted with pricing increases. That said, we have decided to hold current pricing on Echo until after Black Friday. Please be advised that most rods in the Echo lineup will see a 10%-30% increase effective December 1.
