With fluffy gills and a bead head for weight, Doc's Mayfly Nymph from Yellowstone Fly Goods is the perfect small mayfly to try when little BWOs are popping off but the fish are feeding sub surface. The small bead head adds just the right amount of weight to position this fly within the top of the water column where emerging mayflies struggle to reach the surface. Fish this as an emerger under a foam dry to great effect.
