This ever-popular Sawyer SquareTop Shoal Cut Oar is made with a beautiful Sawyer V-Lam blade. This is a solid wood oar from the laminated Douglas fir handle and shaft down to the western red cedar blade. It incorporates the unduplicated feel and progressive flex from a tapered wood shaft and the strength of Fiberglass/Carbon X-Weave reinforcement. The oversized square top provides a counterbalanced feel without compromising flotation.
