The Rio Premier Glacial Gold Fly Line is made with a proprietary PolarFlex coating that stays easy to handle even on the coldest days. Typical trout line coatings perform best between 5 and 21 degrees Celsius (40 to 70F). Below that range, they get stiffer and more brittle with and increase line memory. With the perfect all around trout application Rio Gold taper, the Rio Glacial Gold will keep anglers on the water and fishing effectively in winter conditions.
