This Black Death Tarpon Streamer from Ray's Flies is an excellent low light or cloudy water pattern, designed to stand out in these conditions. The original Black Death is attributed to fly fishing legend Stu Apte and tied with feathers, and many variations of this tarpon pattern featuring this red and black color combination bear the name. This one is tied in traditional tarpon style back from the hook eye and with magnum rabbit as the primary material.
