Gamakatsu’s SBB26 Bend Back Hook is the modern day version of this traditional style of hook. Bend back flies are a style of fly that are tied on a specially bent hook that cause the fly to ride upside down while being fished. With its specifically designed bend on the shank, the SBB26 hook allows wing materials to flow neatly over the point of the hook which causes the hook to invert in the water with the point in the upright or weedless position.
