The Pike Schlapper from CN Flies came to through discussions with Jean Ducharme about tying a fly for pike that was easy to cast and tied with only schlappen. This modification of that fly features saddle hackle and magnum flash in the tail for added durability and profile. Classic color combos like red and white or red and yellow work well for pike, and the sultry blue and black or fuchsia and black mimic a large leech that will attract pike or walleye.
