It’s Fly Tie Tuesday and it’s back to basics. The Tungsten Yellow Spot is simple variation on a classic Pheasant Tail nymph and of course the famous Frenchie. This fly has a little extra bling to catch the eye of an eager trout. So, add some yellow ice dub and some light dun CDC (our favourite) to your collection and get tying some of these hard working nymphs. Other hot spot/thorax colours can be great too - peacock, pink, orange, red, shrimp….. Don’t have dubbing - substitute classic thorax material like natural peacock and you’ll have a great fly too!
