January is a great time to have a look in your fly boxes to see what’s missing and what you need to tie. No doubt you have room for some new stoneflies. This extended body stonefly is a variation of Charlie Craven’s Morning Wood Special. It’s a pretty simple fly and undoubtedly will fish well.
