Twenty-nine years ago on April 1st, 1997, Fish Tales Fly Shop opened at Southland Crossing on Macleod Trail in South Calgary. Five years later we moved to our current location in Avenida and have continued evolving in this space for 24 years.
Each year we celebrate the shop's anniversary with a customer appreciation day and sale. This year's celebration will be on Saturday, April 18th, just in time to help you prepare for the upcoming season. We invite you to stop in, say hi and share your memories of times spent with us on the water over the years. Enjoy in-store sales, giveaways, food from nearby restaurants, and more.
If you come in to the shop during this event, be sure to enter your name in the draw for a guided Bow River Float. No purchase required to enter. We'll have snacks/food on-site from 10 am to 2 pm.
