Fish Tales Fly Shop invites you to join us this month for the exciting fourth edition of the Atlantic Salmon Fly International (ASFI) event September 13th, 14th and 15th, 2024. This year's ASFI event will be held for the first time in Calgary, Alberta, carrying the torch from previous events held in Seattle, Washington and the City of Miramichi, New Brunswick.

This three day event shines a spotlight on the art of Atlantic salmon fly tying, with internationally-renowned tyers and hook makers in attendance to demonstrate their skills for the fly fishing and tying communities. The best Atlantic salmon fly tyers representing Japan, Norway, the United Kingdom and more than 10 other countries share their knowledge on tying and fishing classic patterns while tying beautiful feather wing and hair wing flies. Some of the highlights of this event include:

• Hook making demonstrations
• Live presentations and seminars led by internationally renowned experts
• Exhibitors, both local and international
• Proceeds raised go to charities
• Open to the public
