Stepping away from our series focused on patterns of one pro tyer, this week we have a session focusing on tying caddis bugs throughout their lifecycle.
Caddisflies are a favorite food source for trout in both flowing and stillwaters throughout Alberta (and beyond) most of the year. Fish will regularly feed on them in every phase of their life cycle including larva, pupa, crippled emergers, adults, and egg layers. Learn how to tie and fish patterns that imitate this trout staple.
Local angler and tyer, Marc Fossi will be presenting this Sunday afternoon session. Marc moderates the Facebook group page "Rocky Mountain Fly Fishing."
This is part of our free seminar series. First ones in get the chairs. This session will start at 1 p.m. SUNDAY and last for one to two hours. Coffee and donuts while they last.... .
